Brownies - Dairy-Free Alternative

Ingredients

  • 1 dark chocolate bar

  • 1/2 cup of melted vegan butter

  • 1/3 cup of oat or almond milk

  • 2 tsp of vanilla extract

  • 1 cup of coconut sugar or cane sugar

  • 1 cup of plain flour

  • 1/3 cup of cocoa powder

  • 1/4 tsp of baking powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 cup of dark chocolate chips

  • Oreo chunks

3-4 servings

 
 

 Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius, and line an 8x8 baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. Whisk together until combined

  3. Sieve in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt into the wet mixture and fold until combined. 

  4. Add in dark chocolate chips and Oreo chunks and fold again.

  5. Transfer to lined tray, and bake in the oven for 15 mins for a more fudgy centre or 20-25 mins for a cakier texture.
