My love for wellness started because I was insecure. I became obsessed very early with being skinny, having tiny calves, and the flattest belly. Me being me, I started doing the research on how to lose weight and it was in the process of deciding what to and what not to eat, that I realised the only way I was going to feel good about myself was by starting from the inside out. 

Skinneeds began in 2019 because I wanted to express the things I was passionate about: My love for God, beauty and wellness. My friend had a dream about me birthing something in 6 months and guess what? 6 months later, I had the first ever Skinneeds event. 

That was when the journey to becoming myself really started. I did the research, did the work and most importantly, I became obsessed with doing what Jesus told me to do. So when I was led to start leading prayer calls on Instagram Live at 6am every morning, I was scared and doubtful, but I did it anyway. Without realising, that was the start of my journey into community building and starting what is now known as Revival Hour

Fast forward to August 2021, I had a dream that revealed to me that Skinneeds was going to be a brand and I was a bit hesitant. I was happy doing my day job (property development) and building a community as it was. I didn't want to build a brand

But, again, I said yes and I'm super excited to show Skinneeds to the world. Skinneeds is a beauty and wellness brand committed to holistic health in the lives of every individual we come across. Our aim is to educate you about holistic living, whilst creating the tools needed to attain your best self. We want to inspire our community to live well so that they feel beautiful from the inside out
